Viola'Martin' is a compact, mound-forming, evergreen perennial with ovate, toothed, mid- to dark green leaves and, from mid-summer long stems bearing dark violet flowers.


Grows best in moderately fertile, humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade.

Deadhead to prolong flowering. Cut back after the first flowering flush to maintain a compact habit.
