Soleirolia soleirolii - Mind-your-own-business - Baby's Tears - Peace-in-the-home is a wide-creeping evergreen perennial with tiny green leaves and minute pink-white flowers in summer.
 
A wonderful plant for a range of purposes, as ground cover or as an indoor plant. Outside, it makes an excellent alternative to grass as 
ground cover in moist, shady areas and is also suitable for use in green walls. Quick to establish and fast to recover from periodic dry spells.
 
The leaves can be killed by winter frost but  usually recover quickly to regrow vigorously in spring.
 
Best known as a house plant and makes for a bright green mat with little maintenance.If it gets too extensive simply cut back where not wanted with scissors - can be cut right back to the base if too tall and will re-clothe itself in fresh leaves in a couple of weeks.Give a liquid feed every few weeks to keep the healthiest green.
 
Mind your-own-business is quite happy growing in a gravel humidity tray for sitting your house plants on so long as the crown remains above water level - the roots can go into water - evaporation from the leaves can dramatically increase humidity around your other plants improving their growth environment as well as providing a decorative mossy carpet.
