Grow in a moderately fertile,well-drained soil; best in full sun or partial shade. We have not trialled this in the garden so cannot speak from experience;height expectations seem to vary widely but this may be because different plants because of misnaming and hybridising, different plants may be being compared

Sometimes needs support and the rhizomes can spread so site with care. No pruning required but a Chelsea chop keeps it shorter.
