Salvia sclarea var. turkestanica is an attractive biennial or short-lived perennial which forms a basal rosette of strongly aromatic, wrinkled, mid-green leaves. In late spring, showy, 

tubular, two-lipped, pink and white flowers open well above the foliage. Easy to grow in full sun in average, medium moisture, well-drained soils. 

Leave spent flowers to allow the plant to self-seed.
