This selection of an Eastern European wildflower has been around since the sixteenth century.
Ranunculus constantinopolitanus 'Plenus' Bulbous buttercupis a clump-forming plant with typically divided buttercup leaves and double button-like yellow flowers. The flowers are produced from spring to mid-summer.
 
Noninvasive, a choice plant for damp soil, it produces many large, tightly double, glossy yellow flowers, sharply green centered, in early summer.
