Potentilla rupestris rock cinquefoil is a mound-forming, hairy perennial with palmate leaves divided into oblong to ovate, toothed, grey-green leaflets and, in summer, flat, saucer-shaped, white flowers with yellow centres. 

Grow in poor, well-drained, preferably neutral to alkaline loam in sun. Tolerates slightly acid soil and drought.
