Origanum laevigatum 'Hopley's Purple' Oregano is a woody-based herbaceous perennial to 60cm tall, with small, soft, aromatic leaves on wiry stems and heads of relatively large (2cm long) tubular,
pink flowers with deep purple bracts. Grow in poor to moderately fertile, well-drained soil in full sun. Dislikes winter wet.
Cut back old, flowered stems in early spring.
