Maianthemum bifolia - False Lily of the valley, is an herbaceous perennial to 25cm with lovely waxy leaves and spikes of white flowers in early summer.It has a running root and can make a refined ground cover even in quite difficult soils.

 

Grow in moderately fertile, humus-rich, preferably lime-free, moist but well-drained soil in partial or deep shade. Shelter from cold winds.May go dormant before autumn if stressed.

 

No pruning required.

Supplied as strong young  plants.Flowering should begin in 2023.
