Lychnis flos-jovis 'Peggy' is a low-growing perennial to around 25cm high, forming a mat of slightly hairy grey-green leaves. From early to late summer, upright stems bear small, domed clusters of flat, deep reddish pink flowers. Grow in any moderately fertile, well-drained soil, happiest in full sun but will tolerate partial shade. Protect from excess winter wet. Deadhead to encourage more flowers.
