Luzula sylvatca variegated is a clump-forming perennial with slender-pointed, sharply-toothed leaves with beautiful silver-green markings between the green veins.

In late spring to early summer, whorls of butter-yellow flowers arise from the leaf axils. Well behaved, this yellow archangel variety does not

spread like the species. Striking even when not in bloom, this is a useful plant for filling in shaded areas where little else grows. Great for baskets

and window boxes too. Semi-evergreen in warmer winter areas. Drought tolerant once established. Cut back at the end of the season.

Foliage: Semi-evergreen

Height: 15-30cm in 2-5 years

Spread: 30-60cm
