Hosta 'Snowden' is a slow-growing, clump-forming perennial with large, flat, pointed, oval to heart-shaped grey-green leaves and funnel-shaped white flowers borne on thick stalks in midsummer.

Remove dead foliage at the end of the growing season.


Prefers slightly acidic or neutral, fertile, moist, but well-drained soil in partial shade sheltered from cold, dry winds. Tolerates sun if kept consistently moist. Shallow, chalky soils can cause leaves to yellow.
