Cyclamen hederifolium pink or white is a beautiful perennial with ivy-shaped leaves, patterned with silver-green, worth growing just for the foliage.

Flowers 2 cm in width are borne August to October. The leaves provide a winter feature but go dormant in spring so take care to mark positions if adding to plantings. Plant only just below the surface in humus-rich, well-drained soil. Takes the extreme dryness under surface rooting trees. Mulch well when leaves wither. No pruning required. Best planted where not mixed with anything else except permanent very short ground cover plants as very easy to disturb when dormant. Will survive under trees where almost no other plant we know will grow.

Foliage: Deciduous

Height: up to 12cm in 2-5 years

Spread: 10-20cm

The pictures in this listing are examples of the available plant at maturity and do not indicate anything in regards to size of plant at the point of sale

Organically produced young plant grown in a 9cm pot for planting immediately or to grow on (pot removed when possible, to reduce plastic waste)
