Carex divulsa is a bare root division suitable for planting out or to grow on in a 9cm pot

Carex divulsa forms dense evergreen tussocks of very thin, arching bright green leaves.During summer the flowering stems extend like octopus tentacles a surprising distance in all directions which can be left for their curiosity value  or cut off to regain a tidy clump.

Very easy to grow in most situations including saturated soil and shade.

Foilage: evergreen, cut back and comb out dead leaves now and again.

Height: 50 - 100 cm  in 2 to 5 years
Spread: 50 - 100 cm

Planting Location: Flower beds and borders, edging, informal areas, gravel gardens, ground cover, banks and slopes
