Carex comans 'Milk Chocolate'

Common Names: Sedge milk chocolate

Carex Milk Chocolate forms dense mounds of strappy ,silvery brown leaves which may have a slightly pink tinge to the edges. The small, inconspicuous flowers appear in summer.

Very easy to grow in most situations including damp soil and shade.May self seed a little.

Foliage: evergreen, tidy up or comb out dead foliage in spring.Invaluable for winter pots

Height: 50 - 100 cm  in 2 to 5 years
Spread: 50 - 100 cm

Planting Location: Good for containers, winter interest in herbaceous borders

Grown in a 9 cm pot but supplied without the plastic pot to avoid environmental waste (we reuse) and any excess soil
