The New England Aster is a clump forming bushy herbaceous perennial with pale pink flowers in September, October and November.  This is a pretty Michaelmas daisy that will brighten up a mixed or herbaceous border after other perennials are over, the long stems make it a useful cut flower and it also has the benefit of being resistant to mildew

Grows happily in fertile moist but well drained soil in sun or partial shade

Foliage: Deciduous

Height: 100 - 125cm in 2-5 years

Spread: 100 - 135cm
