Anthemis tinctoria 'Compacta'-Dwarf Dyer's Chamomile is a clump forming invaluable compact variety of this perennial with finely divided leaves, mid-green above and downy-grey beneath. Plentiful golden yellow flowers are held on uprights stems in summer. Grow in full sun in well-drained soil; it is drought-resistant and tolerant of poor soils. Cut back hard before winter to encourage basal growth that will overwinter or divide every couple of years or plants tend to exhaust themselves and may die out.
