Angelica sylvestris 'Ebony','purpurea,' is an unusual biennial or perennial to about 1m tall (very variable depending on soil moisture and richness), with purple, divided leaves and pinkish purple umbels of flowers in late summer. Prefers moist

soil in full sun or partial shade.sometimes self seeds but try to collect some seeds as the plants are not long lived.Stunning and statuesque.
