Angelica gigas is a clump-forming, herbaceous perennial to 30cm with basal rosettes of lobed leaves. Lemon-yellow, semi-double flowers open from late spring to mid-summer.

Grow in fertile, well-drained soil in full sun. Divide every three years or so to maintain vigour and flowering.
Deadhead to promote more blooms, and cut back old stems after flowering.

Height: 0.1-0.5 metres in 2-5 years

Spread: 0.1-0.5 metres
