Aconitum 'Spark's Variety'
 
'Spark's Variety' is an upright herbaceous perennial to 1.5m in height, with deeply divided, glossy dark green leaves and branching spikes of hooded, deep violet-blue flowers. Best grown in cool, moist, fertile in partial shade, but will tolerate most soils and full sun if soil is improved with well-rotted organic matter and mulched. Cut down plants in autumn.
