Supplied as young single stem plants that will achieve full height only in their second growing season.
Aconitum napellus is an upright tuberous perennial, with divided green leaves and spires of creamy-white flowers through early summer.may go dormant after flowering. 
Best grown in cool, moist, fertile soil in partial shade, but will tolerate most soils and full sun if soil is improved with well-rotted organic matter and mulched. 
Cut back plants in autumn.
