Achillea filipendula 'Coronation Gold'- An upright perennial with grey-green leaves forming rosettes, from which arise erect stems to 0.75m in height, bearing large, flat heads of small golden-

yellow flowers. Best grown in an open, sunny position in moist but well-drained soil, though will tolerate most conditions other than heavy wet clay.

Cut down in winter.Good in poor in poor soils; an early summer cut back may avoid the staking chore in richer soils.
